Suraj Kund Temple is the most attractive temple of Meerut. The Suraj Kund temple was built in 1714 by a wealthy merchant, Lavar Jawahar Lal. The main attraction near this temple is an earthen pond which was earlier filled by Abu Nala, but now its source has been changed to river Ganges.
