About Elliot Park

Elliot Park, formerly known as the Company Bagh, has a rich historical background dating back to the colonial era. It was designed in 1830 by Walter Granville, an Englishman, and served as a recreational space for British officers and their families. The park was renamed Elliot Park in honor of Sir Charles Elliot, the Lieutenant Governor of Bengal during the mid-19th century.
