About ISKCON Temple

ISKCON Temple is located on Mainavati Marg of Bithoor Road, at a distance of about 4 from Kanpur. The temple dedicated to Lord Krishna is another international spiritual tourist attraction. The deities here receive an annual Maha-Abhishekam, the traditional bathing of the sacred idols at the Royal Gold Leaf Shrine. Inside the temple is a shop selling gift items, books like the Bhagavad Gita and children's story books based on Indian epics. Jagannath Rath Yatra, Janmashtami, Diwali and Holi are celebrated with pomp here.
