About JK Temple

JK Mandir located in Kanpur is a modern Hindu temple dedicated to Radhakrishna. The temple was constructed by JK Trust in 1960. The Mandap of JK Mandir is built with high ceilings to allow ventilation of air and light. Located here you will find five temples, of which the central temple is dedicated to Radha and Krishna and the other temples are decorated with idols of Laxminarayan, Lord Ardhanarishvara, Lord Narmadeshwar and Lord Hanuman. The temple remains crowded most of the time and especially during Diwali and Janmashtami.

The temple is beautifully constructed and is considered to be a unique blend of ancient and modern architecture. White marble has been widely used in the complex and the temple complex is surrounded by three cellars which give a dazzling look to the temple.
