About Juhu Beach
Juhu Beach in Mumbai is one of the most famous Indian beaches. It is located in 'Ville Parle'. It is located about 18 km away from the city center and is a desired location for most of the film shootings. Juhu Beach was an island in the nineteenth century. In the Portuguese Empire it was known as "Juvem". In 1890, Jamsetji Tata built a bungalow on this bank. After this gradually the construction of resorts, clubs, big hotels started here. Since then Juhu Beach has remained the main center of attraction for the people.
