About Yodhasthal

Yoddhasthal is a prominent 'Know Your Army' museum located in the Dronachal complex of Bhopal Military Station. Yodasthal is known for its impressive display of historical weapons and ammunition that are used by the defense forces. The Auditorium is an audio-video center where short films of military historical value are screened.

There is also a museum with ancient weapons, a park with war trophies, a rock climbing facility for adventure seekers, souvenir shop and a canteen. The museum provides entertaining knowledge about the victories and war stories of the Indian Army.

  1. The battlefield is a platform to showcase the different types of equipment being used by the army in Bhopal.
  2. The battlefield is an open air museum run by the Indian Army.
  3. Various exhibits like old tanks, fighter aircraft, missiles and guns are displayed along with information boards.
  4. Visitors are shown a documentary of about 15 minutes and they are generous to play it even if there are 4-5 spectators.
  5. The complex has several photogenic places and a small cafe and relaxation room.
  6. You can see the original weapons that were used in the wars that our country had till date.

By Rail
Bhopal Junction is near Yodhasthal which is at a distance of 9 km. From here one can take rickshaw or cab to reach Yoddhasthal.
